Kay Trawick, real estate business owner and resident of Grandview, Texas, plays the role of Susan Meyers. Kay, in addition to being a mother to two adult children, is an active member of her church and provides leadership on the boards of multiple organizations. Victoria Pearce attends Tarleton State University where she cheers on the All-Girl Cheerleading squad. A theater student throughout high school, Victoria was touched by the opportunity to play Shawna Meyers in MY SON. She felt God's blessing on her life throughout the filming process, even when driving for hours between the set and cheerleading practice. Following the release of his 2011 World War II documentary, We Were There, Jarod O'Flaherty accepted the role of director for Retta Vision Motion Pictures' first feature length film. A resident of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Jarod is a husband, father of three girls, and hobbyist filmmaker. The style and approach he took in creating MY SON was greatly influenced by the Texas-based television series, Friday Night Lights.
In addition to serving as Co-Producer and Production Manager for MY SON, Michael Dennis is also a husband, a father of two, an Account Representative at a physical therapy clinic, and Minister to College Aged Adults at Retta Baptist Church. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in English from The University of Texas at Arlington. In his free time, he enjoys reading, running and spending time with his family.
